Altar de ofrendas situado dentro del templum –recinto sagrado– del Genius Augusti de Pompeya. Muestra relieves relacionados con el ritual de ofrendas religiosas a este dios protector del emperador. En la cara principal aparece una escena en la que un sacerdote ofrece una libación sobre un trípode antes de realizar el sacrificio del toro. En la parte trasera se ve un templo tetrástilo, con toda probabilidad el que se encontraría tras el altar.
En el resto de escenas encontramos una corona cívica –de hojas de roble– y diversos elementos rituales como la acerra, el lituus o el simpulum, entre otros.

On the main face there is a scene in which a priest offers a libation on a tripod before performing the sacrifice of the bull. In the rest of the scenes we find various ritual elements.
